A PlayStation costs $585. A choppa moves for around $350 on the street. Nobody manufactured that gap by accident. This shirt is asking why we stopped questioning it.
This Isn't About Guns.
It's about what we've normalized. In some neighborhoods, it is cheaper to pick up a weapon than a controller. Safer to move in violence than to invest in a future. That didn't happen by accident — and calling it out isn't disrespect to the community. It IS respect to the community.
We're not pointing fingers from the outside. This comes from inside. From someone who grew up knowing both sides of this conversation — and got tired of watching people he knew stop being people he knew.
That's why this is a shirt and not just a song. You wear it and people have to read it. Then they have to think about it. Then the conversation starts — on the corner, at the barbershop, at the second line, at the cookout. That's where change actually begins.
Every Symbol Was Chosen On Purpose.

This Started as a Song.
Almost 20 years ago, this was already being said. The fact that it still needs to be said is the point. The song came first — out of Kenner / New Orleans, out of real observation, out of genuine grief about what was happening around us.
The shirt came after. Because some messages need to be worn, not just heard. They need to walk into rooms and start conversations before anyone opens their mouth.

I'm Still Saying It.
My name is Bilal. I grew up in Kenner, right outside New Orleans. I watched what happens when a community stops questioning what it accepts as normal. I wrote this song out of grief. I made this shirt out of belief that people are ready to have the real conversation.
I weed the vinyl and press every shirt myself. Nobody else. No warehouse. No middleman. When you wear this, you're wearing something made by hand by somebody who means every word of it.

Why This Exists.
"I made this shirt because once you see the symbols along with the words, the message is a lot clearer. The song was 2007. The shirt is now. The problem didn't change. What changed is that now we have the tools to put it in front of more people. I'm from Kenner, right outside New Orleans. I've watched what misplaced value does to a community up close. This is not an outside opinion. This is a mirror. And I weed the vinyl and press every single shirt myself. That's how much I believe in this."
